The SCBF invites Swiss Competence Centres, Swiss Social Investors and SDC country offices, as well as non-Swiss Competence Centres endorsed by a partner organisation of the SCBF, to submit innovative capacity building proposals for support to be implemented in financial institutions in the South.
Please be aware your proposal shall comply with SCBFs specific ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for Financial Institutions, with SCBFs SELECTION CRITERIA for the Capacity Building Support and refer to one or several of the ELIGIBLE COUNTRIES for SCBF funding.
All proposals are subject to the application and assessment process as outlined on the Propose Capacity Building Support page.
Financial institutions who would like to propose an innovative capacity building support to the SCBF, but who are not linked to a Swiss Competence Centre, Swiss Social Investor or SDC country office, are encouraged to send an email including a one-page support overview to the SCBF Secretariat (email@example.com) who will be pleased to advise you further and introduce you to a qualified partner organisation.
Evaluations of submitted applications will be completed within 30 days. After approval of the proposal by the SCBF Project Committe, the SCBF will conclude a contract directly with the Swiss competence centre that has submitted the proposal.
